At St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, we answer our Lord's call to pray, reconcile, and offer help and hope to those in need.

Daughters of the King

St. Augustine’s Chapter of the Daughters of the King (DOK) was established in June 1994. The DOK is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We are comprised of lay and ordained women who have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are women who, in the midst of our daily lives, find community and spiritual support in local chapters of three or more women. Chapters, national and international, are formed in churches (and church-related institutions) and are under the oversight of their own clergy. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.
